IT Support Contractor
We are a technology driven company of around 45 people in the sports betting sector. We're looking for an IT Support contractor to help support the business.
Our technology stack includes:
- Linux and Windows desktops
- Active Directory and FreeIPA
- Google G-Suite
We're looking for someone that can muck in to support and troubleshoot whatever may be preventing us from operating as a business. That could include anything from fixing login problems to sorting out email groups, replacing a UPS battery, investigating a dead laptop, racking up servers or working out why a machine is slow to shut down.
The users you will be supporting are intelligent, friendly and usually IT savvy. Primarily they are the internal development, trading and quant teams.
You will have experience of dealing with hardware in an office environment, and will be able to communicate effectively with the users you are supporting. You will understand how email and DNS work, and will be able to fix common desktop problems, both hardware and software related.
Experience with Linux and ticketing systems are welcome but not essential.
